Late to the party on these, but no matter… I wasn’t paying much attention to nail varnish when these hit drugstores about five years ago. Really, I never ever hoped to attain them in my lifetime, but as I’ve stated on my MUA notepad, one must be careful what she wishes for on that site. Love is the highest vibration, trumping all other emotion, and these small manifestations of such wipe the slate clean of any negative experience. Thank you, Norma and Maria! May these images serve as a proper homage to your generosity.

After taking these photos (so pleased to have revived this lily with deep drip irrigation and some TLC from the heap of straw-colored mass it was at end of summer), I looked up images for bottle shots/swatches of these SH varnishes in an attempt to find out the year(s) of their provenance.  Noting that in addition to there not being a bad photo in the bunch, there were lots taken outdoors, near green foliage.  Such a pretty juxtaposition, no, and rather unexpected for this time of year!  Just a skip and a jump to the other side of my house, it’s a riotous carpet of bright yellowgold, flaming reds, crimson and bright yet sad autumnal light issuing from grey skies.
