Sinful Colors Genteel, Nude, Pistache
I sent all of these to alelvi123 in Switzerland this time last year after wearing a manicure composed of Nude with exclusive-to-Target NOPI Pick of the Glitter. Both are amazing varnishes that looked awful on me… I ended up repurchasing Genteel, although I couldn’t find it in my collection in order to remind myself of its name for you here (had to Google, how mortifying not to remember this stuff), and when I see Pistache every sparing now and again, I’m always tempted to buy it (a rare instance of self-control takes hold, however).
A very early morning shot, taken last year around this time, as mani documentation for alelvi123, who obtained for me the Essence varnish used here as a base. This is Essence Colour & Go 119 Boho Chic, a peachy brown with gold flakes and a shade not distributed in the U.S., with the varnish I’m holding as a topper, White Rose Dew from the Etude House Etoinette Versailles Nails Versailles Rose set. I might well have sandwiched another gold shimmer, glitter or flakie in between or as a final top coat, but yet again, memory fails me…
OPI I Juggle… Men, Colorama Melindrosa, OPI Natural Nail Base Coat, Deborah Lippmann Dream a Little Dream of Me
A combination of all of the above, I can’t remember which order…
Redux, with Essie Anniversary Gala to the right. I had the Essie on my right hand with Colorama and OPI as toppers, but only took pictures of the left, which has DL as the sheer, shimmery base.
Encore
…et encore.
This washed-out shot belongs with this post.
Isn’t it rather embarrassing how casual phone snaps often turn out better than those taken with a complicated, clunky professional camera?
